I currenlty have a pci card intalled on my pc, I upgraded to pci-e ( I read that it was a faster video card) I get in, and when I try to install it and to my own amazement it doesn't fit! I guess not all motherboards take this? my question is can I get an adapter for it, can't return it, got it on the bay!. thank you.

    Motherboard type

    intel desktop board D875PBZ

should have checked before you bought that card as your motherboard only has 5 pci slots & 1 agp slot.

the pcie/16 videocard replaces the agp cards & they do not make adapters for cards to go gtom 1 type of slot to another. options are to sell that card & hopefully get your money back or upgrade your system to a new board, cpu & possibly ram so that you can use that card.
