I'm looking into buy a new video card. What I want to do with it is hook it up to my tv for purposes of watching movies. What is the quality like? Does it have to be a real expansive one to get pretty good quaility? After I buy and install my new video card. What should I do with the one thats in it. Do I just disable it and leave it in the machine? Can I put it into an older computer because I assume it is better that the one currently in it? Note that video card came built in. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
u dont need a espansive card to get the job done. the quaility is going to be fine w/ whatever card u get. there is a card at tiger direct http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=82918&Sku=C460-7013 going for $39 which has tv out and that should do the job. just check if your tv has s-video plug. and disable ur video card that is on the board.
