VIDEO CODECS... not really customizable

    my codecs, when i record something with my tv tuner capture card, they don't really retain the settings like bitrate for video- so i'm wondering if i'm doing something wrong.

    What do you mean by Retain the settings...Do you want it to remember the settings you used Last time you used the codec or are you setting up the codec and then it suddenly changes??
