I have extracted some video files from my Humax PVR8000T and am unable to detect what type of files they are...

I now presume that there is not file extension and that these files are images but I have tried using DVD-Shrink and Nero to burn the file but I get unexpected file format...

Please can someone help me solve thie problem...Thanks :D

Try TMPGEnc with the MPEG-2 codec , this should do it.

The problem is when I navigate to the files that I have there is no extension so MPeg Editor does not recognised the file format...???

Maybe someone from the UK can help you on this --- All am going on is the specs for your Setop that I got here :-

    http://audiovisual.kelkoo.co.uk/b/a/ps_14188187/100008013.html

It definately states your output format as being an MPEG-2 , hence TMPGEnc can handle those -- Quictime plugin may be required though !

Let's hope someone in here can shed some more light on this ! <<smiles>>

Have a Great Afternoon , am heading for work , hubby is waiting in the car !
