i have xvid/divx(AVI) videos and some are bigger than 700mb. They cant fit into regular CDs so i was hoping that u all could recommend me a video conversion tool/s to reduce the size of the videos. i see some ppl convert those avi videos to real media format(rmvb) and i like the quality as well as the reduced size(half the size). What are they using ?

Or what other format produces acceptable good quality with reduced size ?(pls include tools used as i am only familar with DVD to DVD-R or AVI)

    Thanks

AVC, specifically x264 would give you better quality than Real Video.
AutoGK will allow you to shrink it and keep it XviD or DivX if that is important. For AVC you could try MeGUI.
