With my Philips DVD recorder I recorded a sport event which can be replayed by the DVD recorder or any other DVD player, as well with Nero Show time and RealPlayer. The video is stored in two folders: Video_RM and VIDEO_TS, each containing different files As I want to edit the video with Windows Movie Maker, I wonder if I can convert it under NERO 7 into any format Windows Movie Maker accepts. Can anyone give me a hint? Thanks
So you want NERO to convert it? I think Nero Recode function should be able to do it- Open up StartSmart-->Photo and Video-->Convert DVD-Video Movies to Nero Digital. This way you can convert it AVI or MP4. edit-- Here's a guide http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/convert_dvd_movie_to_nero_digital.cfm
Thx Darkhadou for your help! I was able to convert the TV-clip to xxx.mp4 which I can play with Nero ShowTime. BUT...how do I convert this file type into .avi or mpg ?
I believe a free program such as WinAVI should be able to convert it to AVI, DVD, WMV- no point in mpg since it pretty much is mpg but of higher quality.
