I had angel potion codec installed. I decided 2 upgrade 2 divx 5.1 after i installed it i tried 2 play a normal mpg file(videoclip where chimp scratches bum} it played and then the video dissapeared after 3 or so seconds. when i double click it again in media player it played right though wat could be the problem. ps all my mpgs do it. may i need to re-encode them or what?????????

i have the same problem the playback goes black however the video continues playing my best bet instead of resolving this with mp jus use a better player like WINDVD or POWERDVD
