Video Driver

    I am trying to find a video driver for a Windows 98 laptop. Can anyone help me find a place to download or buy a video driver for it? Thank you

    Do you mean grafics card driver ?

    moved to correct forum as is not other software issues. what is the make & model# of the laptop as in dell inspirion 1100?

    It is a hp pavillion n6395.

    It is the grafic driver for the built in grafic card.

    I see what you're saying. Usually HP has a list of drivers to choose from, but for this model you're out of luck. Is there a sticker on the laptop that lists the manufacturer of the graphics card, such as ATI? If so, you might be able to install the driver from their website instead of HP's site.

    From what I can find, most of the ATI mobility drivers are designed for Windows XP. I did find an older catalyst version that claims to support all versions of Windows, but it doesn't specifically list your video card. I suppose you can try it and if it doesn't work then no big deal (link here).

    If you feel like trying Windows XP, here's the link for those drivers.
