Ok im new at this so be gentle. heres the deal, ive collected several video clips with my little digital camera that does mpeg movies. ive got about 90 little 10 second clips that i want to join together and run threw an editing program so that i can brighten them up abit. ive succesfully joined all the clips using MPGJoin program. the joined file plays fine on my media player, but when i try and open the same exact joined file in my VirtualDubMod editing program it only see's the very first clip out of the many joined?? why would it be doing this?? its like no matter what, if try and open the joined file in any video editing software program it just display the very first small 5 second clip?? yet i can play the entire file on my media player>?? whats going on??
As I have never used that editor, I wouldn't be able to tell you. However, with something like that, it's usually because you ticked a box somewhere for an option that you didn't want. I would suggest going back through another time, and make sure that you have all the options available for the ones that you want. Another suggestion is just to use windows movie maker on your own hard drive. You can add all the clips there, and then bring them down into your timeline. You can then save your output video file in high quality. Watch, and enjoy.
