What is the best consumer video editing software. I'm trying to create a cool edited background clip for a Lost(the television show) dvd. However when I try to edit together a clip together using Adobe Premiere it won't recognize the avi format of the video. What other programs for video editing would you recommend?(that have transitions, fairly easy for a beginner,ect)
First of all, you may be missing some codecs if the avis are not recognized.
