    Hello,
I've never been very good at video editing so bear with me here. I'm trying to edit several videos of mine with Adobe Photoshop CS3 and am having two problems.

1.) After applying the edits I want and selecting Export - Render Video, the finished product will have no sound. The original video has sound. How can I fix this?

2.) I'm trying to adjust two things in the videos with Photoshop, namely Shadows/Highlights and Sharpen. When I apply either of these edits, however, it will only apply the edit to one frame of the video and the rest of the vid will still be the same as the original, without the edits applied. So when playing the final product there will be a brief flash of a single frame that has the correct edits and then the rest of them will be the same as the original. How can I make it so that the edits are applied to all of the frames and not just one?

    Thanks!

You are using the wrong software to edit your video. Adobe has video editing software called premier elements. Adobe photoshop cs3 is mainly a photo editor.

If your video files are xvid(avi) the free avidemux can edit those videos and keep the sound, it also has sharpening/lighting filters that will be applied to the entire video not just one frame.
