    I am new to video editing and have been trying out pinnicle studio 9
    can you capture video from hard drive or disc with this program if not what program can do this cheers.

    Yes, you should be able to capture from your video camera. If it is a miniDV tape, video camera, you need to capture via firewire to get the best quality.
