If any of you have used Sony Vegas Pro 8 (or possibly older versions) then you've seen the snapshot icons pictured all along your video events on the timeline. Here's what I'm talking about:

I outlined the event in bold red. I really like this feature, but it's really annoying to me because Vegas has to scan the video file every time I either zoom or scoll along the timeline, meaning every time I have to make a small change, such as correcting unwanted frames in my video events, I have to wait at least 5 seconds for Vegas to load all of the video icons. This really slows down my work. While I think the feature is cool and sometimes helpful, it's mainly just something that gets in my way. Is there an option to turn this off? I searched all over Google about this but didn't find anything.

Can I at least get a response?
