I was wondering if anyone could help me with this problem. I just upgraded to a new version of WMP and ever since then when i click on an avi, mpeg, wmv, etc. it asks me what program to use. I click the the check box where it says use this player as default for this type of file but the next time i open any video file it asks it again. Does anyone have any solutions. Thanx.
Right click on the file Click -> Properties Next to "Open With" click "Change" Choose the program you want to open with, and tick the option "Always use this selected program to open this kind of file".
Yeah that was the first thing i tried when this was started happening but it doesnt fix the problem. The properties already show Windows as the default and ive clicked the box to always use it but it still comes up.
