I am using Nero and when I try to add my video files it tells me they are not compatible. The files are in window media files. How do u get past this.
Hi Joerivera Welcoome to aD For windows media video (wmv) you'll need to use Nero Vision to transcode then burn these to a dvd compliant video. Here's a guide for .avi's but you can use it for .wmv files too. http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/272946
Where do you get Nero Vision. Is this a download or do I have to purchase this as additional software. Hey, thanks for information. I am new to using Nero.
Nero Vision is listed under 'applications' in smart start. Did you buy Nero or did it come w/ your burner? Which version of Nero are you using? (see pic - of nero 6 but 7 is very similar)
