My motherboard is a a8ae-le asus. Looking this number up on HP's site shows a composite and s-video output. As luck would have it mine has neither. I realize I can change graphic card and get this feature but I'm quickly running out of slots available for this. My stupid question is this...looking at my motherboard I can see exactly where the video and s-video outputs should be. Any chance in a million I could simply solder a composite plug on the board and instantly have video out??? My graphic card is a ATI radeon express 200.Computer model a1230n. I'm not trying to be cheap..just concerving expansion slots. Thank you for any help.
NO don't do it buy a card you would have to use a very very fast soldering iron or say goodbye to your motherboard if you're gonna try anyway try and keep the rest of the board as cold as poss i have fixed a scratch on a m/b but i wouldn't try unless the board was dead they are very heat sensative
get a card belive me ittl work out cheaper than trying to solder points on a motherboard i have a friend who tried the once and melted a whole lot more solder than he should have. he was picking up mobo bits for weeks (could be something to do with the hammer involved when he realised his mobo had completely stopped working) Anyway just dont try it
try this bro: http://www.rtv-veg.com/products/veg/ peace....dont know why you want to change it anyway
