Hi, Im'm new on doing VCDs so I'd like to ask you something

Well, Yesterday I burned a video that I have in VCD but the video and the sound quality weren't good (really bad).

What I wanted to know is if I burn the same video in SVCD would the video quality be better!? If so, how better?

If not, is there anyway of watching this video on my DVD Player with the highest quality possible?

Sorry, but the quuality depends upon the support AND movie quality. A movie extracted from a VCD (NTSC) is already MPEG-1 352x240.
Maybe, with a good AVI (640x480) you could burn it on a SVCD (MPEG-2 480x480) or even on a DVD (MPEG-2 720x480) but NOT vice versa. Sorry...
