video quality

    I have several short videos that range in size, length and format. I've used several programs to convert them and burn them to dvd's, but the one problem is always the quality of the video. Is there a way to retain the video quality, or is that the way it goes when making the video bigger for the TV?

    depends if you made it in short quality by saving it in a diff format
