I'm using a starview the box super with a Panasonic Viera THPV42 model plasma... I notice that there are problems with scaling of the video signal. By scaling I mean the picture extends a good bit beyond the screen edge resulting in clipping. Normally I'm not too worried about this but it is very poor on some channels.

I've tried a number of differnt SV3 box configurations ... but no joy switching to RGB mode from CVBS causes no effect except black bars on the side of the screen while the picture is still clipped. The 4:3 / 16:9 does nothing.

Is there a fix for this or is just a matter of you get what you pay for?

Try changing the screen size on the TV and not on the box

Thanks for the reply ... tried that ... did not seem to work ... the blakc bars appear but the picture is clipped. I seems to only affect certain channels (e.g. Dave) ... so I'm guessing ti could be the source...
