Video sound!!!!!

    I have a problem which i think is Windows related?
    I use Pinnacle Studio 9 and also Ulead Vieo studio 6 SE DVD and when i save the video files from VHS as Mpeg 2 i get no sound.
    Everything looks as though it is set OK.

    If i play the VCR though my PC before saving the video clips i have normal sound and video.

    Any thoughts on what is going on???

    what sort of capture device are you using ?

    Thanks for replying.
    I have a Belkin Hi-Speed USB 2.0 external capture device.
    My thoughts are is it a Windows problems possibly causing this???

    not if your hearing adio in windows check in your capture settings that audio setting is set to the capture device and not line in cd etc

    Are you familar with these two programs?
    I have tried to sort them out with regards sound and can not see where to go with them?
    Any ideas?
