I am trying to get a video to my computer. The only hook ups on my camera ar A/V and S video. I am not exactly computer literate and wanted to know is there a usb cord that has A/V and S video on one end and a usb on the other? I have recorded the vhs tape to a dvd thinking that I could do it that way,but the computer will not read it. The dvd I recorded on in a dvd-r. My computer says it will read dvd-rw. Is this my problem do? Do I need to record my vhs to a dvd-rw? If anyone can give me some advice I would really appreciate it.
    Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

it wont read it casue its in the wrong format. go to Newegg.com and search you may need to put a A/V card to connect via PCI in it so the computer will reconize the a/v signal
