    hello

please take the time to help a stupid newbie!

after many hours of searching, ive managed to convert divx to a format that is burnable via nero, something that i believe is called video ts.

this, however, isnt compatible with sonic my dvd, a programme that i find much easier to use and prefer over nero simply because it makes it well easy to set up a menu atthe start, allowing me to put several different programmes on on dvd without having to run through thm al in one go.,

is there any body who can help? is it possible to convert video ts to a format that i can use on sonic my dvd?

or is there a really easy way to make menus on nero when you are burning a dvd+r?

    please, please help!

    iain

    Iain,

In MyDVD, when you select the 'Get Movies' button, a browse box titled 'Add Movies to menu' will open which enables you to go to the folder/file that you wish to include in your DVD.

You need to go to the 'TS Folder' that has been created by your other program and open it (by now you are thinking I have done this and it comes up blank). Have a look towards the bottom of the browser box and you will see the file types MyDVD is looking for. That is actually a drop down box, with the default setting being for Mpg type files. Simply select the other alternative which I believe is titled 'DVD-Video IFO files (*.ifo)'. Now you will see a 'Video_TS' file in your selection box. Select it and MyDVD will start to transfer it to your project.

    Hope this helps.

You can Simply use "Nero" in "DVD Video" mode to Burn the "Video_TS" folder to DVD...It is Like a 3 Click process and Takes maybe 15 minutes....
