I have a VAIO PCG-GRT150. It has 32M NVIDIA but I would like to upgrade that to at least 128. 256 or 512 if I can manage it. Sony was, of course, no help in this matter.

Would I have to replace the whole mother board? Is the card built on to it? I've built my own desktop PC before but for some reason, I'm a little leery about cracking open my notebook...maybe it's because of the fact that my wife would want to kick my a$$ if I screwed it up. :)

the laptop itself can only go to 1gig of ram. check in the bios to see if can increase the amount of shared ram for the videocard.

Thanks ddp. I've found a company that will sell me the two DDR for the 1gig RAM. It's been a while since I had to deal with the bios though. Where exactly would I be looking? When the computer starts? The setup section before Windows loads, or under the control panel somewhere?

Okay, that's what I thought. I'll check it out.

    Thanks again, ddp.
