This has been happening for a while now...whenever I try to play any kind of video, whether it's a DVD disk or a .avi, .mov, whatever, my computer messes up. The audio will keep running fine but the video will either slow way down or it will start freezing and jumping. I've tried it with pretty much every player I can think (wmp, VLC, BS, Divx, Core media, etc...) of, but I don't think that's the problem... I have 1GB of RAM, and I never have anything extra running when I try and play something. All of my drivers are up to date. Any help?
Hey I don't think i have the same problem as you, but one of my Xvid movies is jerky. The frame rate is horrible...Not sure why your video's are playing back like that...i doubt it has any releation to my issue tho..Reinstall your codecs..
