I have a bunch of videos from a TV show. They all have .avi on them. I'm unable to play them and I have all the codecs for xvid, divx, svcd, vcd, ect.

I tried using Gspot and it said the file isn't support avi file. It can't find out what it is. Is there any other program I can use to check and then convert them to something I can use?

    Thanks

Is there any utility I can use to convert them? I play all these on my XBOX (Media Centre). I don't want to play them on my PC, and I can't even do that. Anyone have a good utility like Gspot that I could try?

    Thanks

Does anyone have any ideas of what to do? I tried VLC and it didn't seem to play anything.

Is your tools out there that I can convert the format (whatever it is) to a normal xvid? What should I do, I don't even know the formats of these vids?

Sounds like the files are just corrupt.
