Mpeg, divx, downloaded video clips...so far nothing is working properly. I downloaded the latets codec from guru3d but no luck. Using a nvidia geforce fx 5200.
Not been to guru3d for a while, but you probably have downloaded graphics drivers for your card not video codecs. If this is the case then you need to download some codecs instead. You can try the K-lite codec pack and install what you need or find the individual codecs you need using g-spot and download them individually. Hope it helps.

Damn...still no video. DL full version and still no video. Tried media player, nada...tried divx player, nada.
At the install process did you install Media Player Classic? Have you tried playing in this? It plays most things quite easily. Also, if you click start and go to programs and look for the k-lite entry, you should see g-spot, load that and load your video and in the top right of the program it should tell you what codecs the video is using. EDITED FOR DUMB SPELLING :-/
It's avi and it says the proper codecs are installed. I'm dl another video to see what happens. And yes, I tried the classic also to no avail. I'm at a loss. In the end it will be something simple but finding the simplicity is sometimes the hardest task...LOL
Your right there, the hardest problems are never as hard as they seem. But everything seems easy when it's sorted Hope a different file works for you, I'll check back later to see if anyone has had any ideas....off out now, saturday night an all!!!
