    I have a 1.2Gb Mpg movie file.

    I was wondering if there was anyway to cut it in the middle so that i could burn it to two 80 min cd-r's

    Sure... there are lots of ways... but is the MPEG file VCD ready? (i.e. is it in the correct formats, etc)

    If it is, then FlaskMPEG can really easily chop the video in half. Also, (if the video is in the wrong MPEG format), TMPEGenc has an option to set the maximum file size per segment.

    how do i know if its VCD ready ???

    i have tried to use TPMPEG thingy before but could not understand it pls help thx neil

    right its is in the right format for VCD how do i cut it in half i have flaskMPEG but do not understand it
