    what is video/x-video and will it play in media player?
    play/review plays sound only in ares?
    can't help being stupid!

    Thanx.Works a treat.I have a normal cd writer. Would I be able to download to a couple of normal discs and play on a dvd player? Sorry for all these boring questions!

    You can't play them on your player unless your DVD player is Divx/Xvid enabled(doubtful). Your only option is to convert the Xvid to SVCD or VCD, assuming your DVD player even plays those types of discs. Check your manual or do a Google search on the model number to check its features.

    problems,problems,problems.I was running win me but it kept crashing.Upgraded to win2000.Video played well in me but jerks in 2000.any ideas please?
