videos back to pc?

    i know how to get songs from the ipod to the pc (via hidden folders). i was just wondering, does this work for the videos? because i bought a video ipod from ebay and i want to restore it, but i also want to keep some of the stuff that was on it. will i be able to this?


    also, as im going through these songs, im finding that some are protected. anybody know how i can unlock them?
