I have an iso image of a movie on my harddrive but I cant burn it to a dvd because it is roughly 3 gigs. Is there any way i can just watch it on my computer?
Why can't you burn? Anyway, you can mount the iso onto a virtual drive and watch the movie from there. If you like, you can also copy all the files from the virtual drive back onto the harddisk. Then you'll have all the files restored.
Hi there, Daemon Tools v3.47 is FREE and will let you mount images as a virtual DVD Drive. I use it all the time, it works very well... http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/portal/download.php?mode=Download&id=34 If you wish to compress that 8Gb down to 4.3Gb so you can burn on a DVD+-R Media, using DVDShrink, which is also free.
Yes, you can use Daemon Tools to create a virtual drive, but make sure you have a lot of harddisk space. Also, you need to 'mount' the iso onto the virtual drive, and 'unmount' it when you're done.
