Wondering if anyone has seen this problem. Modded my GC with a Viper GC Extreme last night (modded several PS2 so I know the basics) and for some reason if I turn on the GC as normal the chip doesn't boot, I get the regular boot screen and it doesn't recognize backups. Whats odd is if I double tap the power (turn it ON - OFF - ON real quick) the chip boots every time and works great, streams games thru the USB, reads backups, etc. Currently running Cobra 1.6. What would cause this weird glitch? Are there alternative power leads I can use for the Viper mod? Any help is appreciated.
That is sooooo wierd. I get almost the same problem, only the chip boots and then won't read anything unless I do the on/off thing as well. Sadly, no idea how to fix it
