I have just flashed my dbox2 with the new Virgin Image, and can't get the ppv channels working. The box worked just fine before I flashed it.

I used the same nagrarom7 file as before, but still nothing. One thing with the Virgin Image is that it comes with no emu's, so you have to copy the relevant emu's to the box - which I've done. Can't understand why it won't decode the ppv channels.

Anyone used the new Virgin image ok?

That is what I've done. FTP'd all the relevant cams and keys to it. Still no luck.

    Hi,

I reflashed my Dbox2 today & loaded several images to no avail (images have loaded, but can't get locked channels to unlock!)

Thought I'd come good with this V1rg1n image. Followed everything as per the guide (but used my own services & bouquet because scan only picked up 15 channels...)

Anyone had any joy on this? Emailed the add. above but not heard anything. Searched & been at this for about 6 hours... :-s

    Many thanks in advance.

All you need to do is add the rom 7 fix
    Via ftp to var/keys
And all channels will clear ...............Paul

    Thanks for replying Paul.

Unfortunately I have popped in the roms from 011208 in there but still channels are locked... Enabled AU (whatever that is!) in the three methods available too but nothing...

    Cheers,

    J

Aha... just found something about "chmod 755 the cam(s)" but cannot find an explanation...

Must I add the words chmod_755 so - for example a file would read "evocamd_chmod_755"?

    Many thanks,

    J

Drop evocamd into the /var/bin/emu folder and right click on the file once in the box, click attributes(chmod) and change the value to 755 and save.

If you already have a Cam or Cams installed just chmod them. And as Paul said you also need the keys in the correct folder. These do not need attributes changed and can stay at 644.

After that just restart the cam via the blue button or reboot.

Ah - super - thank you!

I'm working on an Apple (FTP-ing and flashing has been working a treat so far) so right-click attributes(chmod) isn't there but have a PC emulator which I'll try and get working! Lol! Will post with news. Changing the attributes is obviously my issue.

    Can't thank you enough!

Nope! When I right-click in FTP window, just the standard 'Open', Copy to folder / cut / paste etc and properties - nothing in the properties window either... Shoudl I use Cute FTP rather than logging in with the standard windows 'My Network Places'

Well, well, well... I don't believe it! We have a breakthrough!

Not tried everything of course, but using my services backup file, from what I can see we are back up and running!

Thanks to everybody and ooooo - 10 hours' research, trial and error :)

Got there in the end. Don't know what I can do to return a favour, but if I can I will!
