Regarding mounting an iso, I found that Virtual CloneDrive has a smaller memory footprint compared to Daemon Tools.
    Is that true?

No idea, but for a virtual dirve Dameon doesnt work on my system so i fell in love with MagicDisc. The memory footprint is about the same as Nero Image Drive, about 15MB for what that is worth.
