Hi Gents. Here's my prob if anyone can help please. I have taken 2 AVI's and used Virtual Dub to join them. Works flawlessly. I than use Nero and simply burn a Data DVD to get the single AVI onto a disk. All is still good. My problem lies in that the new Disk when placed in my DVD player has a stretched image which fills the screen instead of the wide screen with 2 black bars and nice picture. The Avi's look great when played off the Hard Drive on my PC it's when I burn them onto a disk I loose the nice aspect ratio. Help please and I hope this is the correct forum.

If the aspect ratio of the AVI video is 16:9, then it's up to the DVD player to accommodate the TV screen (the player is set for 4:3 output and should send a letterboxed image).
