I've heard rumor of a version of virtual dub that supports .wmv and .asf files. Does anyone know if this is true and if so where can I get this version?

thanks, However I still can't open any of my .asf files with virtual dub. Gives me and error that says something like packet=0, or something like that. Im not sure what the problem is.

The guide thingy says that: "IF IT DOSEN'T ACCEPT IT YOU MUST CONVERT IT TO ANOTHER WMV FILE USING Windows Media Encoder 7"
The current version is 9 though but that conversion might be needed to edit the files in virtualdub.

I followed all three guides on divx-digest to the letter. Including the one we are speaking of, and no luck at all. I rencoded the file with windows media encoder 7, and the file I get works and everything, but it won't open in v-dub. I also tried v-dub 1.5 like the other guide said, and same problem. I've been trying to convert these files for months, and frankly its driving me nuts.
