I have an app (not a game) on a single CD that requires the CD to run. I created an ISO image, mounted it with Daemon, installed it from there on my HD and still it looks for the CD. Am I doing something wrong, or is this part of the software protection code that I'll just have to live with. I'm, not interested in copying this app or anything - It's just a pain in the ass to put the CD in everytime I use the app (daily). It's like having to put your Word CD in everytime you write a letter. What are these guys thinking? I can easily copy this CD, give it to 50 people if I want, and they can all run it with their copied CD. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Do you mount the image when you run the program or when it asks for the cd? The program might except the virtual cd and run for you.
You could look for a cd free crack. I'm sure your not the only one annoyed with the program.
