Virtualdub is giving me more of a splitting headache then splitting my .avi file. However, I read that it can't open some AVI files. THis is the message that I got as an error: -Couldn't locate decompressor for format 'DIVX3'(Microsoft High-Speed MPEG-4 v3 [Hack: DIVX Low-Motion]) Virtualdub requires a video for windows (VFW) compatible codec to decompress video. DirectShow codec, such as those used by windows media player, are not suitable.- What do I do so it can read the avi file which is about 180 mb and be able to split it?
