Hello this is my first post on Afterdawn.com I hope someone can help me. I recently reformatted my pc and lost my VirtualDub program. I downloaded a newer version, version 1.6.15.

On my old version when i wanted to add subtitles to a movie i would use the filters but when i checked the filters on this version i see no subtitle filters listed when i hit the 'add' filters button. I vaguely remember having to load the subtitles into my older version but cannot remember either where i got the subtitles to load or how to load them. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I need a filter for .srt subs. BTJunkie.

What you want is VSFilter. Basically, download, rename to vsfilter.vdf and place in your VDub plugin dir. You will now find a textsub filter listed in VDub. It also contains vobsub, should you ever want to load sub/idx's.

Thank you celtic_d your post was a great help. I did as you asked and now have BOTH sets of text filters available, first class! BTJunkie
