    hey,
I have always used Virtualdub to split my movies and save them as .avi files, and it has always worked for me. But, i have just downloaded Lord of the Rings The Two Towers DVD Screener, and when i split my movie and save it as an .avi file the sound is totaly off. It is about 1 second ahead of the video. I don't know why this is happening. I have also tried to directly encode The Two Towers to an mpeg with TMPGEnc but when i start the encoding process TMPGEnc freezes. If anyone could help me i would be greatful.
    Thank you VERY MUCH!!

let me guess, the two towers xvid release?? Try using NANDUB that worked for me but I cant remember where i downloaded it! Just for the record the problem lies with bad audio encoding!!
