I opened mpeg2 file in VirtualDubMod and tried to save it to avi using XviD for compression. Then opened compression... and it only showed, that almost all codecs were missing. There are only five video codecs now: uncompressed, 5.10.2, ffdshow, intel and toshiba. Those default Windows-based codecs and my later codec installations (like divx, xvid, huffyuv, picvideo mjpeg etc.) are missing. GSpot indicates they are installed. And Mpeg Layer-3 is the only audio codec which to choose.. What has happened and what should I do to fix it?

    Check for empty vidc entries.
