I'm trying to use this program to split up a couple of movie .avi files so I can use TMPGEnc to write them to CD with Nero..
Basically I'm following this guide on the internet..Techtree Guide
I have all the files it says I need but when I go to split the file in VirtualDub, it comes up with a message saying
    "Couldn't locate decompressor for format 'DIV3' (Microsoft High-Speed MPEG-4 V3 [Hack: DivX Low-Motion])
VirtualDub requires a video for windows (VFW) compatiable codec to decompress video. Direct show codecs, such as those used by Windows Media Player, are not suitable.

What do I need to do? Do I need to download any other files, codecs etc?
The films run fine in DivX player but I want to put them onto CD so I can free up some disc space and watch them on DVD palyers.
I'm guessing I have the right codecs installed because I have got GSpot and it says I have the codecs installed.
    Thanks
