I am using a pixelview playtv pro ultra. Using power2 vcr I get good color. For some reason, Virtual dub will not show any color. I thought maybe it was my tv cable, but then I would anticipate no color with power vcr.

I really want to use virtual dub as it is easier to cut commercials, etc.

I am using an nvidia graphics card and a catalina sound card. My computer has an Athlon 3000 cpu, 512megs 3000 memory, using windows xp home. The capture card I am using used to work with Virtual Dub. I have a Gigabyte motherboard.
If you need any other info, please let me know

Tried your suggestion. Still have no color. Changed cable, no help. The black and white picture is good on amcam but looks bad in virtual dub. Have also tried intervideo win dvd. With this I get a color picture that immediadetly disappears, np matter what channeel I am receiving. I am beginning to think my card may be the problem. Have even changed the card slot and reinstalled the drivers without any success. I am getting frustrated with it all and thinking strongly about getting another card. But then, that might not help the problem, either. oldboy 29
