Do you hear of Zebra VirusCleaner from softreg.com? It is a new generation virus-clean program that can not only detect and clean more than 260,000 known viruses, but also effectively detect unknown viruses up to 90%. I installed one on my PC, and it works well up to now. Hope this useful for you.
hjt log looks ok as far as malware goes. you can always do a online scan or get one more anti-malware app. as for Zebra VirusCleaner-- better stick with the proven trustworthy antivirus apps online: F-secure scan: http://support.f-secure.com/enu/home/ols.shtml uses Internet Explorer only click on the "start scanning button" near bottom of page. click to accept/install the ActiveX applet "accept" the License Agreement, click "full system scan" Once the download completes, the scan will begin automatically.Download may take awhile The scan will take some time to finish. When the scan completes, click the Automatic cleaning (recommended) button. BitDefender Free Online Virus Scan http://www.bitdefender.com/ click "scan now" button accept EULA by clicking "I agree" allow ActiveX to install click on "click here to scan" Scan will start after defintions are downloaded other anti-malware apps: i think (at least the first two) will run on vista. only need one, you already have windows defender syperantispyware spybot search and destroy lavasoft's ad aware Avg anti-spyware. regards echoreply
