hi, nothing jumping out of the log as far as malware goes a hjt log dosn't show/list all malware though. other than trend micro pc-cillin removing a virus/trojan do you have any symptoms like pop ups, page redirects etc? does trend micro provide the name of the virus and location?
let's see...i was getting pop-ups from something called dcads, but i think i got rid of that problem. i ran a scan with avast, avg, pc-cillin, superantispyware free edition, and antispyware...antispyware found the most and i went through and took all those out manually. superantispyware found some and said it removed them...at the moment i'm running another scan with pc-cillin but i'm hoping this time it won't show anything. i don't recall everything that showed up, but there was one called agent, one called trymedia, one called zango, and one more that i've since forgotten. i removed the questionable stuff from the hjt log as well. i thought i got rid of zango awhile ago but it must have not been entirely gone. i know one of them was in the system restore, and one popped up every single time i clicked on a link or changed pages on internet explorer, but never when i used firefox. once pc-cillin and the various other things are done, i'll post if it finds anything....
nothing showed up. *on the other hand, nothing ever showed up when i did an actual scan anyway, it would just pop up at random times...* but i'm not getting pop-ups anymore and there's no random, bizarre problems on either firefox or ie. yay!! and thanks for listening....heehee.
