when using nero vision on some of my MPEG files when i add them to make a dvd only a part of the MPEG shows up, for example i add a mpeg that is like around 30 mins long but when i add the file it has the length of the MPEG at 4 mins instead of 30 mins. now it is like that on a lot of my MPEGS but some are not like that. also when i go play the file using WinMedplayer it plays the whole 30 mins. I'm i missing a codec or something why would this happen? any info would be appreciated.
NeroVision isn't the best converter about. Try ConvertXtoDVD or DVD Santa and see if the same problem occurs. Both will watermark the output in the trial version mode but it'll give you a good idea anyway. Here's links to some widely used conversion software.
