    Hey'a,

I downloaded some free video archives in WMV format, which I then imported into Nero's VisionExpress. I created chapters (manually) and then burned my finished product to DVD-R. Problem is the audio is out with the video by a couple of seconds! Can someone please tell me what tends to cause un-synchronization? Thanks guys,

    Michaela :)

Unless Nero has a 'delay audio' setting, I would recommend encoding the video outside Nero (use anything but Nero).

Quick question: Does the delay get worse as the video progresses? or does it seem to be delayed the same amount all the way through? If it gets worse as it progresses, then it will require just a little more work than Nero can possibly handle. If video and audio are out of since and it grows worse, then the video framerate (fps) is incorrect.

    Hey'a Dog3y3,

The delay doesn't seem to get worse over time. There were actually two videos that I imported to the project, and the first one is actually in sync. It's only the second one that's out. I wonder if it's just too much for Nero (as you imply) and that if I'd done each clip on a separate disc, it would have been fine. Anyway, I shall try what you say, and encode using another programme. Although I've never done that before. What do you suggest, encode to MPEG or AVI or what? And any suggestions on a good programme for encoding?

    Thanks for your help Dog3y3.

    Cheers,

    Michaela
