vista dual boot questions

    well i've done some research and sounded a bit confusing, i have windows xp vista home preuium (my ass its the "wow experience") anyways i want dual boot with windows xp x64 (ok i got it free from a friend, and i like free stuff) but i heard it corrupts the vista boot loader and i cant use vista agian. i got vista pre installed and didnt get any system discs i am going to paritition as soon as i get some info on this i have got gparted on a cd all ready to go! thanks

    Installing xp after vista is pre-installed, will cause you to loose the ability to load vista, but you will be able to add the vista bootloader using the free program vistabootpro from inside windows xp.     Now i Have a reallllllyyyy big problem i tired to dual them but it didnt work i couldnt run vista because of a disk error so i installed ubuntu because of the grub boot loader and now vista won't start up at all neither will the recovery partition, but ubuntu works fine and fast and im rather enjoying it but i want vista back because of my gaming... anyone have any suggestions. i musta screwed up bad eh
