vista help

    i heard theres a way to install vista and keep all ur data? can u do that also can u creat a partion then copy it to another one so i can test it out?

    to dual-boot with Vista, you need to install Vista first. as for installing and keeping all your data, just move it to a separate hard drive, as you never know what vista may screw up if the information is on the same physical hard drive and only a different partition than you are installing on.

    in honesty, though, it's recommended you stay away from Vista for a while, if not all together. just because it's new and shiny doesn't mean it's stable, secure, or worth it.
