Vista says disk is full when actually empty

    I have windows vista. I was trying to burn some files onto a CD-R disk. The files never made it onto the disk but my computer is saying that the disk is full even though there isn't anything on it. What causes it to do this and is there anything I can do to still use the disk?

    Maybe it started the burn and now the disc will not allow anything to be added to it, assuming its not a RW
