this morning my pc updated itself. i let it go ahead and do it since i figured it fix things or w/e. man ive never been so damn wrong. I plug in my mp3 player to add some songs... Now windows dint have the driver on it all of a sudden. Now it did this message for like a week then started working for some reason when i first got the pc but now after getting it to work its doing it agian! even after a update. Oh and to make it worse it fusking deleted my entire mp3 player, now i have all thos songs that i cant even get back because they wernt american and had to get from a site that closed down due to afew of the singers bening put on itunes. so now it dosnt have the devices that are default on my iriver mp3 player so it dosnt even start up now. I go to the site and get the update and low and behold that shit dosnt work either because vista dosnt read the device. I fusking give up on this vista shit, all it dose it break my stuff and dosnt run anything!
if you could definitively prove that the mp3 player being erased was cuz of vista being crappy and not just human stupidity then u might be able to get restitution from MS
